Quick tips for cutting medium and thick plates with non-standard equipment

Medium-thick plate blanking is the basis for many non-standard equipment. For this purpose, we use CNC cutting equipment, whose accuracy is controlled at the millimeter level. In 2025, we processed a batch of 16 mm thick steel plate brackets for an auto parts factory in Wuhu. The cutting surface was smooth, and welding operations could be carried out directly without secondary polishing. It is reported that the customer said that when he was looking for other manufacturers before, Just the polishing process takes an extra two days, but here we can do it all in one go.

Riveting and welding customization is not afraid of complex structures

What I am most afraid of when customizing rivet weldments is work that involves complex structures and high welding requirements. Our team has welders with more than ten years of experience, who can handle general welding, secondary protection welding and argon arc welding. Last year, we produced a set of non-standard reactor brackets for a chemical equipment factory in Hefei. The bracket had more than 30 welding points, and each point required flaw detection. However, we passed it successfully in the first time, so that the customer placed an additional order on the spot.

Sufficient experience in processing auto parts

For auto parts, the requirements for precision and consistency are extremely high. Our factory regularly performs supporting work for OEMs located around Wuhu every year. Starting from ordinary shaft-type parts to complex types of mold components, we are able to stably supply goods. We will adjust the cutting parameters according to the characteristics of the material itself. Just like the processing methods of No. 45 steel and aluminum alloy are completely different, these subtle links determine the service life of the product and the smoothness of the assembly process.

Complete plastic mold processing facilities

We are also able to process plastic mold parts, not just metal processing. There is such a situation. Some customers are engaged in automation equipment related work. When they need to splice and combine plastic parts and metal parts, we will undertake the two tasks of molding and machining at the same time. The purpose is to avoid customers having to find two other factories to complete the docking work. Just in the second half of last year, we produced mold matching parts for a local electronics factory. In the end, all 32 sets of products were delivered according to the agreed time, and none of the sets required repair.

Steel plate shearing plate blanking size is accurate

The shearing machine cuts and unloads the steel plate, which is the first step in many projects. In addition, we currently have three shearing machines on hand, which can cut steel plates up to 20 mm thick and up to four meters long. When existing customers make ventilation ducts, they need to cut 2 mm galvanized sheets into strips of different sizes. More than 300 pieces need to be cut a day. We use programming layout to reduce scraps to a minimum, helping customers save 10% of material costs.
