The core equipment of the stone production line is the jaw crusher. Once the eccentric shaft stops, the entire production line will stop. The problem this time occurred was a large jaw crusher in a sand and gravel plant. The diameter of the eccentric shaft bearing seat is 250 mm, the width is 410 mm, and the wear depth on one side is 8 mm. This amount of wear caused the bearings to completely lose their fit, causing the machine to vibrate violently when it was started, making it impossible to operate normally. In the past, when this kind of bearing position was worn, most factories would choose to disassemble the entire eccentric shaft, transport it outside for repair welding, and then take it to the machine tool for processing. Just disassembling and assembling such a shaft will take several days. Direct repair on site without disassembly or welding technology saves time

The entire repair process was carried out next to the equipment, starting from cleaning the surface, passing through the coating material, and ending with the clamping tooling, which took less than 8 hours. After the material is solidified, there is no need to go to the machine tool, and the bearing can be directly replaced to resume operation. The factory's maintenance supervisor said that if the old method was followed, production would have to be suspended for at least a week.

The repair process is divided into nine steps, with someone checking each step.

First, observe the wear condition of the bearing position, clean out the oil and impurities, and use a caliper to accurately measure the wear data. Afterwards, the surface is treated with baking oil to carbonize the oil that has penetrated into the metal, ensuring that there is no oil residue. Then use an angle grinder to polish the oxide layer to reveal the original color of the metal, and then clean it thoroughly with absolute ethanol. It is necessary to apply a release agent on the inner surface of the tooling to prevent adhesion. Finally, mix the materials according to the proportion and apply it to the worn parts. Tighten the tooling and wait for it to solidify. After the material solidifies, remove the tooling and remove the excess parts before reinstalling the bearing.

The material properties are hard, wear-resistant and impact-resistant, and will not cause pieces to fall off.
